Our employees are trained to use Procore Construction Management software. Procore streamlines communication by connecting field to office on a single mobile platform. This powerful tool makes it easy for Tricorp, clients, subcontractors, architects and engineers to collaborate. The entire team can communicate and manage all project correspondence and project documents. Our accounting software, Sage 300 (formerly Timberline) has been integrated with Procore to produce requests for payments and lien waivers for subcontractors and the owners.
Our field staff holds weekly meetings with subcontractors to coordinate activities and review job safety, preconstruction meetings prior to start of major activities and regular Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings.
We start early by preparing “incomplete work lists” in Procore weeks prior to punch list time to minimize the last minute work. We also have our own crews to help push the process along, especially when subcontractors are limited in manpower or during “crunch time.”
Safety is a culture that is supported by everyone in the company and driven by the top management at Tricorp. Our standards meet or exceed OSHA standards. Our projects are prepared with a Site Specific Safety Orientation Video for all workers.
At Tricorp Group, Inc., quality is an attitude that translates to “we are accountable.” We are accountable for providing a project in conformance with the drawings and specifications. We have many levels of internal and third-party training classes for our staff from supervisors to craftspeople. We developed a training center in West Sacramento where we teach our craft employees how to build and modify a one-level wood frame structure.
Tricorp staff are trained in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 and will utilize the right tool depending on the size and complexity of the project. We pay detailed attention to incorporating proper sequencing and duration of activities including design, permitting, bidding, submittals, phasing, logistics and long lead-times.
The objective of cost tracking is to assure the team there are no surprises. We continually monitor actual construction costs against the original budget estimates. This gives us an early indication if there are budget problems. We achieve this by utilizing a Cost/Budget Report that summarizes the financial status, including the approved estimate, all variances resulting in changes and an overall project cost.
