Hyatt Place Hotel (Phases  I & II)

UC Davis

New, wood framed, 4-story, 52,000 SF building consisting of pool, kitchen, meeting and conference rooms. The project was inspected by the California State Fire Marshall. The documents were reviewed and approved by the Department of State Architects (DSA) and UC Davis Health Department. This was one of the first hospitality projects to be completed through a Public-Private-Partnership delivery method. The project was completed on time and within budget. (Phase I - March 2010.)

 

Phase II

Tricorp Hearn was invited to participate as the Design/Build Contractor on the 24,275 sf, 52 room, expansion of this property. (Phase II - March 2014.)

Hyatt Place Hotel

El Segundo, CA

Construction of a new, 83,855 sf, 143 room hotel with pool, spa, outdoor dining patio, meeting rooms and outdoor fireplace.  This hotel was the first Type III, 5 story, wood framed structure built on the West Coast, and the first of the new 2.0 Generation that the Hyatt Place Brand opened in the United States.   This project won Hyatt's Development of the Year Project for 2013.

Hampton Inn & Suites

Union City, CA

Design build new construction of a 90 room, four story, 54,210 SF hotel.  Designed to comply with the Cal Green Code, the project included features such as energy efficient appliances an indoor pool, and bioswales.  Bay Mud Conditions exist on site, which required significant subsurface conditioning.

Construction of new, 5-story, wood framed hotel on concrete podium including 129 rooms, pool, fitness center, conference center and breakfast area.

Springhill Suites by Marriot

Anaheim, CA

This 120 room, 4 story, 79,000 SF hotel is located in the Anaheim Resort District on a 2.5 acre site, adjacent to Disneyland. The project includes demolition of existing restaurant and site, required abatement plan and adherence to the strict Anaheim Resort District building requirements. New construction features structural steel framing system and assemblies.

 

Project amenities include an outdoor pool and spa, porte cochere, meeting spaces, excercise facility, kitchen, and dining and communal spaces.  Mechanized shading panels and storefront glazing allow for comfortable use of daylight.

Las Alcobas Napa Valley

St. Helena, CA

This is a 5-star, 68-room luxury boutique hotel in St. Helena, CA. The historical renovation of the existing Acacia House includes 5 guestrooms, reception, wine tasting room, and a restaurant and will be the focal point of the development. The spa and conference room are in separate buildings, yet central to the rest of the guestroom  buildings and pool. This property is located next to the Beringer Mansion to the north and vineyards to the west.

This proposed project in Davis will be located on Cowell Blvd, close to Interstate 80.   The four story, 120 room, 76,460 sf hotel will provide much needed accommodations,  supporting travelers and guests of the busy university community and its many business and cultural offerings.  

Marshall Hotel/Hyatt Centric Downtown Arena

Sacramento, CA

This 162 room, 11 story hotel is in the planning and preconstruction stage.  The structure will be load bearing metal stud over concrete podium, preserving the unreinforced masonry, historic brick façade.  The plans include a lobby and restaurant space at approximately 6,300 sf.  The project is proposed at the corner of 7th & L, directly abutting the Sacramento Arena.

Hyatt House

Davis, CA

Construction of a 4-Story 92,065 sf, 168-room Springhill Suites Hotel on a 3.4 acre site. This project includes Type 5A construction of a fully sprinklered building with all the related site improvements including paving, underground utilities, and landscaping.

 

Courtyard by Marriott

Redwood, CA

This new, 5-story, 177 room, 107,031 sf hotel provides much needed local accommodations. The two level, 60,000 sf parking garage is built above grade with the rooms on top of it. 602 cast-in-place piles were installed during sitework due to expansive soil conditions. Amenities include meeting rooms, breakfast area, business center, fitness center, and pool.
